This book is a captivating account of nine children who lived through the terror of the Holocaust. The author provides a glossary in the back to help with words that might be unfamiliar to the reader. Although the recommended ages for this book are 9-12, many who reviewed the book believed that it might be a little mature for the 9-10 year old children. As always, be sure to read this book before introducing it to your own classroom.
